Goals for my exchange

I just got a bit inspired by a girl making YouTube videos , now I really wanna do a post about my goals while I am on exchange.
Let's get started:
  •  get to know the Argentinian culture as good as I can and maybe make a part of it a part of my life
  • learn at least two words everyday
  • get as fluent as possible in Spanish
  • detach from technology
  • get a good relationship to my host family
  • make friendships that last a lifetime
  • learn more about my life in Germany and appreciate it
  • get out of my comfort zone
  • get more exited about small things
  • don't stay at home all day
Okay, these are the first things that crossed my mind but I will probably update the list, and maybe I will make  extra page for it. I already have a page for things I wanna do. The lists are really similar but not the same:)
See you soon :)

P.S: Brit Awards were great! Ed Sheeran won two awards and Madonna fell down the stairs, while she was singing :)

Brit Awards

Picture of the Ed Sheeran concert ♥
Okay, this doesn't have to do anything with my exchange year, but I don't mind.
This evening are the Brit Awards!!! I am so excited. I am a huge fan of Taylor Swift (I know she is not British, but she will be there anyway:D), Sam Smith and especially Ed Sheeran!!
I've went to a Ed Sheeran concert last year and this summer I will go to another concert of him at Wembley!!! I've never really been into all this award stuff but a few years ago I started loving it!
There will be a live stream on YouTube, if you are interested in watching it just go to the official Brit Award YouTube channel by clicking here.
Tell me, if you wanna watch it, too (or if you reading this post later then tell me if you have watched it and what you thought about it).
I hope you have a wonderful day.
I am still ill, but it's good that I am ill now, because I'll go to Sweden in less than two weeks:)
 ¡Hasta la próxima!

School:)

It's me again!
We just got a letter from my school. It was just the "OK" that I can make my exchange year! I am so happy that everything worked out:)
I have to "repeat" the eleventh grade (currently, I am in tenth grade). But for me it's not really repeating because I've never been in that grade (I hope you understand my logic). I am a bit sad that I won't graduate with all of my friends, but I hopefully will make new friends:) In the end I know why I am doing all this and then I know "repeating" the grade was worth it.
I am thinking about blogging in German again, I am not sure about that because I love English! But it's easier for me to express a lot of things, when I am writing German....
I could blog in both languages but I don't know if I could write everything I am saying in English:)
Tell me what you think please:)
Take care ♥

Tuberculosis Test || + Facebook Group

Hey everybody:)
This will be a really quick update.
I just wanted to tell you that I've been at the hospital today and the TBC Test is negative.
Not really surprising since I've already made two last year:)
Also, to all the German speaking people: There is a Facebook group now for  exchange students going to central and south America:) So if you are interested in joining us just click here.
I hope you have a nice day, and you are not ill, like me:) I just hate the weather at the moment, everybody gets ill :/
¡Hasta la próxima!

Tuberculosis Test

Today my mum and I drove to the hospital to make a tuberculosis test. Every exchange students needs to do this test. I already made two, exactly one year ago but the test shouldn't be older than one year when you fly to your host country, so I had to do it again...
The whole test doesn't take long. They just inject the tuberculin under your skin and then, three days later, they can see if you've already been in touch with tuberculosis or not. There is also a blood test but we decided to do it like this (last year, when I made the test for the USA we made the blood test). When they inject the tuberculin it hurts a bit. No, hurt isn't the right word. Let's say it doesn't feel nice:)
Now I  have this nice smiley on my arm (photo). The nose is, where the tuberculin got injected:)
I'll tell the result of the test on Tuesday.

P.S: Today I've made a header. I'll take a photo that'll match better when I am in Argentina.
P.P.S: I also made a to-do list with things I wanna do while I am in Argentina. You can find the list when you click here.

You are amazing!!!

You are crazy!
Thank you so, so much for over 21k page views on my blog!
I am so thankful!
My blog is really important to me and I've already spent a lot of time in writing my posts and improving my blog.
It's great to see that people actually are reading my blog.
Since the post is really short, I'd like to ask you guys a question and you could answer it in the comments and we could exchange our experiences (if we already have some).
If you are/have been/will be an exchange student, I'd like to know in which country you are/have been/want to go to?
And of course with which organization.

¡Hasta la próxima!

Passport Photo

Buenas:)
Today in my school break, me and my friend Nele went to a photoshop. For my application I need 6(!) passport photos. So today I took the chance and now I have a "beautiful" picture. I don't really like the photo, but I don't mind because I don't know any person that likes his/her passport photo. I can't really imagine for what the organization needs 6 passport photos, but I'll see:)
Do you like thie picture in your passport?
Hope you have a wonderful day:)
¡Hasta la próxima!

Just some talking...

Bonjour tout le monde!
Today I won't talk about a specific topic. I just write about a few things that are in my mind. So let's get started!
Every exchange student knows the struggle is real: the paper work!!
It's so annoying! And it's not like I am doing it for the first time. Lucky me: I still had my family letter, but after I read it I realized that I don't even like it anymore. That's why I decided to copy some lines from my old letter and made a new one with them and added new things to it. All in all it's a good letter I think! One friend of mine (she's from England) already corrected it. I really appreciate that she did that for me!
I also started my family album. Because I've been a lot in hospital last year I only have photos that are about two years old. I hope that's not a big problem for my organization. Later I will take a photo with my family, so the potential host family can see how I look like now.
In school I already asked my Spanish teacher to write a letter about me and why I would be a good exchange student. I am really thankful that she is doing that for me.
Today my mum and I paid the first instalment. Since we've already been at the bank we directly asked what we should do because of my pocket money in Argentina. I know it's a bit early to think about that but then we don't have to do it later. The lady at the bank recommended to get a credit card. But like I said, it's a bit early to talk about that topic so let's go on!:
The more I read about Argentina the more exited I get. I am really glad I chose Argentina, and I hope I won't regret it while I am there.  I am only a little bit afraid because I study Spanish for half a year know, which isn't really long,  but I know I can do that!
Today I decided to start writing a diary. Mainly because of my exchange year, so I'll remember everything. I don't want to tell you my whole live-story on my blog... I hope I won't stop writing the diary, because I know me really well.
I hope you don't get bored because I don't write about a specific topic. I just wanted to write a new post, because since I know that I'll go to Argentina I got really exited for my exchange year again and it made me think about it a lot the last days. You'll probably hear from me again really soon, until then
Hasta la próxima!

Finally!!

Hey everybody:)
Before I start with the actual post I want to tell you that I decided to blog in English now. It's just fun for me and more people can read about my time as an exchange student. I know my English isn't perfect but I'm really motivated to write in English anyway.
But let's get started with the post:
Yesterday I got the letter, which said that I didn't receive the scholarship. But it is okay for me, because that means I will go to Argentina, which is really exiting!
I don't know why I decided to go to Argentina, it was just a feeling I had and I hope it's the right feeling! Also yesterday, I got the contract for Argentina from my organization "Experiment e.V". I already started writing my host family letter and fill in all the other information the organization needs.
The more I think about my time in Argentina, the more I am looking forward to it.
Oh, and I already know in which city I'll live. It'll be Córdoba, which is the second biggest city of Argentina.
You will hear from me, when I have more information from my organization.
I just hope I can go this year and there won't happen something which makes me stay here in Germany.......again!
I hope you have a great day,

Cara
